As always, the Wool Tent at the 2015 Kentucky Wool Festival will be full of demonstrations all day Friday and off and on throughout the weekend!
We'll be demonstrating:
wheel spinning, drop spindling, Turkish spindling, an electric spinning wheel, knitting, crocheting, weaving on a cardboard tapestry loom, weaving on a table looms, wet felting, carding, combing
needle felting, cable and lace knitting, weaving on a triangle loom, fiber harvest and animal care. There will be sheep shearing demonstrations and working stock dog demonstrations, too!
There will be all sorts of goodies for sale including raw fiber, washed and processed fleeces from all breeds of fiber animals, including sheep, alpacas, goats, llamas, rabbits... Dyed roving and yarn, natural yarns. Spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting tools. Woven rugs, wet felted and needle felted finished goods, pottery, photography, note cards, Christmas items, sheep and crafting novelties and so much more.
And don't forget all the unbelievable food vendors and live music and all the craft tents!
